THE SUNSHINE OF LIFE

The storm has passed over;
and the sun is shining bright.
The whole earth seems to sparkle;
In its soft soothing light.

How wonderful to feel it's warmth;
As it shines upon our day.
To bask in it's freshness;
And view the beauty on display.

Flowers sparkle in dazzling colors;
And the grass is green as green can be,
God sends the sunshine on this earth;
All its beauty for us to see.

There is a different kind of sunshine;
One God sends into our life,
It's a sunshine of hope and happiness;
It's a freedom from all strife.

Life's sunshine is so wonderful;
And we enjoy it in every way,
There is one big problem though;
We forget to thank God each day.

God blesses us with the sunshine of happiness;
He blesses us with the sunshine of Love,
God blesse us with the sunshine of Laughter;
And above all the promise of heaven above.

With all these blessings of His Sunshine;
How could we possibly forget to say,
Thank you Lord for every blessing,
Of life's sunshine you send our way.
