If only we could keep our innocence,
what would this world be?
If only we were color blind, would
or love be ever free!

There would never be a race war,
cause we would never know~~
but when you think of all Gods creations,
in only black and white...
we would never see the colors of roses,
of leaves turning in the fall,
so leave the colors please........

Just God, let us be smarter, more loving,
in your care,
help us to the the err in our ways,
and let us know you're there.
Sometimes you need to slap us right upon
our head.
To make us understand, that you created us all.
You love us all, and we should respect
the same.

"MAKE THE PAIN GO AWAY!"

I look at this man, and I see, courage, I see good.

We have all but forgotten you, and your words of
wisdom.
The truth about war, violence, and hatred. we need
you or someone like you again,
to make our pain go away.

You always said that noting good would come from
being violent, and I believe your words.
You said that violence is the creed of no religion,
and that we all know is right.
Make the pain go away, let us look at a
brighter day.

You said that you object to violence, because even when
it appears to do good, its only temporary,
and the evil it does is permanent.
Make the pain go away, this is what I pray.

"A WORLD OF HURT"

When I researched for my blog on my 360 post today, I found that we, as a nation, (Under God) are in a world of hurt. People in power, only care about power. Rich people only care about getting richer. We the poor, are in a nation that seems to no longer care, if we live or if we die. Our wonderful young men and women fighting in Iraq to line the rich mens pockets. I am sorry, I see not other reason for that war.

I know that Sadam Hussin did some mighty bad things, but he did it to his own country, and he killed not near the innocent ones as this war has killed. None of the 9/11 terriost were from Iraq, and I am confused, as to who exactly told us to go to Iraq and start this war.

I pray for peace every day, and I hope by some miracle we will have peace in my lifetime.

"FORGIVENESS WITHIN"

Everyone can love, that is a no brainer,
from the day we are born,
we learn to love.
We bond with our Momma, she
is the first to show her love.
We bond with our Daddy, he is always,
the second one that we love.
And then there is our siblings, if we are
lucky enough to have those.

Somewhere along the way, we lose our Moms,
and then we lose our Dads.
More oft than not, this is the way,
that it goes.
Now we are left with the siblings, that we have
perhaps fought with over the years.
Maybe there is hard feelings,
left to unfold, we are never too bold,
we are told.
To forgive.

To forgive someone else, we must first forgive ourself.
This is the hardest person, perhaps to forgive.
Sometimes it has been so long that your brother,
or your sister, don't even remember why there
are hard feelings.
And all you remember is that , they are still there.
Find your forgiveness within, and there will
be forgiveness for all.
Love to be loved.
Hate to beget hate.
Care to be cared for.
Step on to be stepped on.
You are what you think you are, so
strive to think big.

HAPPINESS IS~~~~~

Happiness is friends who last a lifetime, always there and never complaining,...
Happiness is finding the love of your life and hanging on...
Happiness is finding a way to thank God for every breath that you take..
Happiness is always knowing that he is there and you can depend on him......

Where is the American Dream?

Greed has turned the American dream into a nightmare! Big companies, moving overseas to put a little extra money in their own bank accounts. Money that they don't need and can't use in this lifetime. But do they care about the lives they are destroying?? No!! Its all about big money, big government, and Greed.

What will happen to the people who made this country a place that others looked up to, that made others want to be like? Does anyone really care, that we will soon be like all other third world countries, with only the rich and the poor? I pray that we have the backbone to stand up, and make ourselves heard before our whole world becomes one huge nightmare!

JUST THINKING

How would life be if there had been no 9/11,
would the world have been
the same.
Would our political people have found a way
to start a war anyway?
Since Iraq, you can hardly read a blog,
much less write one,
that is not about hate, or religion.
Did we love more before?
Did we care for people of other religions more?
Why are we all so short with each other?
We may never know who really was the brains,
behind 9/11.
But whoever it was, it was not the whole of Islam.
Hitler was a Christian,
but we did not blame the whole body of Christ.
Lets not make a dire mistake here.
Lets live, love, find peace within ourselves.

REMEMBER ME!

Ancient Egyptians, wrote on stone, inside tombs, to remember. We are more fortunate than that. We can put it on floppy disc, cd, or in journals such as this.\

Remember me my dear friends, as a person who has no prejudice, I do not think I am better than anyone else on this earth. I think that everyone has a right to choose who they are in love with. I think everyone has a right to choose their religion, and to practice it in anyway they see fit. I think we all should love more, and hate less.

Remember me as a person with no hate, I can actually say that I have no hate in my heart for anyone. I leave the judgement up to our God, Creator, of all living things.

Remember me, and only say one thing when I am gone.....SHE LIVED!

LIVE

When you retire it can be the best, or the worst day of your life, depends upon you. I love my retirement, even though it means my days at work are over, it certainly does not mean my life is through.

I love to travel, (cannot afford to do it often), but I will do it every chance I get. I love to LIVE, and I do. Age is no barrier for me, I still do everything, that I once did, even with a frown or two, from friends or family. Who made the rules anyway?? Who says we have to give up all the things we loved when we were young?? You are said to be as old as you feel, so cheer up, when the time comes to retire. Party, travel, enjoy all the things you could not do, because you had children at home, or not enough time. Well now you have all the time that God will give you, and its only up to you and to him, how you spend that time.

Live, Love, Laugh, and be happy!

BE GOOD TO OUR MOTHER

I was not gonna write in my blog tonight until I received this beautiful picture from a friend. It reminds me of the few things we can do to take care of our way of life. We must take care of Mother Earth, because without the trees for oxygen, there could be no life. Without the bees, the birds, etc. for pollination, there would be no roses.

The person who sent the picture was a native american, and trust me, of all the people on this planet, most native americans still do things right. They do not abuse the environment, they do not hunt, except for food.
They do not abuse and destroy the forest.

Of all the people on this planet, the native american should be the ones who feel cheated, who feel robbed, who feel anger when they see our planet destroyed.

I want to do my part to try to help save our planet, and I would like to start, by pledging to my friends, who are native americans that I will read, study, and learn.

IS THIS BIG BROTHER???

Is this big brother? A micro-chip no larger than a grain of rice inserted in your finger?? Trust me its here already. Are you ready? They say it is for your own good. It can tell people all about you by just a scan. Your medical records will be there and just might save your life.

I don't know about you, but I am still a little worried about too much technology. Do I want to walk around with a chip inserted under my skin?? In my day that would be science fiction. Oh well, maybe I should just go with the flow. The problem is...........I could drown in that flow. And what happens when the medical data is outdated. Do we take it out and insert a new one?

The chip was made by "Applied Digital Solutions Inc." and is ready for use right now. They are just holding off sales until it is FDA approved.
Trust me ~~~~approval or not, I don't want it!

DID YOU EVER??

Did you ever wonder, why people will not listen if you have a different perspective?

Do you believe in creation from God, or do you believe in evolution?
Or Maybe, you believe in neither.........

We are a Universe of all sizes, shapes, and philosophies............... why are so many people, just shut off or shut down, from listening to others?

I read, and I try to understand, did you ever?

Some things that I read makes me angry, but I read, and I know that the people who write these things truly believe in what they are writing, who am I to try and change their mind? We must study, we must listen, we must open our hearts to all people. We must love, we must think positive thoughts, and we must pray................
