"Gentle Rain Butterfly Kisses"

On nights when your lonely, with nothing to do,
think of gentle rain, or morning dew,
all of these pleasures are given to you.

You can be alone, but never alone, as long
as you love, and your heart is your home.
On a blissful morning, under a pale blue sky,
you feel gentle rain,
and you breath a deep sigh.

In your heart you know he is thinking the same,
and looking for you, in this gentle rain.
He feels yours kisses upon his lips,
you feel his , and you touch your lips gently,
as the butterfly's kiss.

Weep no more and never alone,
we see the same rain, and sun in the storm,
as we both feel the kisses of
butterflies, upon the gentle rain.

WHEN PEOPLE LEARN TO LOVE

This planet of ours, will heal when we as people of the Universe, learn to love. Will this ever happen? I believe so, but not in my lifetime. The younger generation are smarter, they know that hate destroys. And with access to the internet, they will start.

Love will dominate over hate. People will have better attitudes about life, about culture, and about respect.

I see it coming, just go to chat rooms of different cultures and watch, listen, and learn.

Its older people, the now generation, that think the world owes them something. Trust me~~~~~~you owe the world. This is a beautiful planet, we need to start by restoring it to its perfect health. It is dying along with us. Start now, don't wait, do everything that you can to make this world a better place. One person can, and often does, make a difference.

The age of Wisdom

Is there an age of wisdom? Or is it just something that people expect of us as we get older. I know a few things about life that I never knew before, but it certainly is not a lot of wisdom. To me wisdom means to be wise~~~~~~of well, that surely leaves me out. It seems every day I do stupid stuff, and make many mistakes. I sometimes think its because I am childlike in a way. I trust, I love, I expect people to keep their word.

I am not innocent (not by a long shot), I have done many things wrong in my life, and committed many sins. Not unforgivable ones, but sins nonetheless. God has forgiven me, I do believe, and I must go on from here. But nothing gets me so upset as people who blame a whole nation, for the mistakes made politically! Or, a whole religion, for the deeds of a few! Or a culture for their believes, when only by the grace of God, we were born in a free country.

I want peace in the world. I want the politicians to see what they are doing to the future of our world. To our children, and great grandchildren. I want the powerful to see the hand of God, I want each of us to live in peace, love, and harmony.

My prayer, my wisdom, is just to have faith, and love.

What is love?

Love is a slow kiss goodnight
It is anticipation.

Love is an imperfection in yourself
not bothering you,
It is acceptance.

Love is passing up an opportunity
because the time is not right yet,
It is patience.

Love is a back massage that starts
above the hairline and ends
around the innersoles,
It is exploration.

Love is not having to say,
"Let us make Love", because you know
what the other person wants,
It is understanding.

Love is being given an honest chance to say no
when you thought you were committed.
It is consideration.

Love is saying the perfect phrase
to make a solemn embrace dissolve into giggles,
It is humor.

Love is being told, "Stop and I will kill you",
It is desire.

Love is reviewing the damage to your living room
and realizing personal effects are strewn
in a clockwise pattern from the front door
to the bedroom,
It is abandonment.

Love is seeing what your lover really looks
like for the first time,
It is truth.

Love is knowing what time it is and not caring
It is joy.

Love is the arms around you
tightening their embrace,
It is ecstasy.

Love is telling a person, if you have to leave,
You will let them sleep,
and being told they would rather be awakened,
It is tenderness.

Love is waking up to find the subject of
the dream you were having
asleep on your shoulder,
It is where fantasy meets reality.

Love is being there to wake your lover...slowly,
It is sensuousness.

Love is belatedly knowing why you
bought a king size bed three years ago,
It is practicality.

Love is two people only taking up a
third of a king size be,
It is closeness.

Love is knowing you gave the extra
set of keys to the right person,
It is trust.

Love is saying goodbye and knowing you
will be back by mutual consent,
It is faith.

Love is stretching your arms and discoverting
the real meaning of the word "sore"
It is a lesson in human frailty.

Love is opening your medicine cabinet and
finding your tooth-paste turned into a pretzel,
It is adaptation.

Love is sitting at the window,
looking out, and remembering
who you were with the night before,
It is reflection.

Love is hearing the weather forcast
for a winter storm, and wishing
you could spend it in bed with your lover,
It is loneliness.

Love is stories that will never be told.
It is personal.

A most beautiful thought:

"LET THERE BE PEACE"

This was a picture from a newspaper just last week, of the fighting going on in Pakistan, at the Red Mosque. Why can't there be peace? Is it because some in that part of the world, are more tolerant than the others? I just don't understand, all are Muslim, brothers and sisters in Islam.

I think what is happening now is............the younger generation, wants more out of life. They don't want to be like the West, but they want more than just work to live. If the economy were better in these parts of the world, would there be peace? I wonder? And sometimes, I think there will never be peace. Too many powerful people that want more power, they seem to forget that in the end.........we all have what God has planned for us, nothing more, nothing less.

So come on, I pray to all the world, let there be Peace. Can you just imagine how much we are disappointing God/Allah. Our Creator is not in the least proud of us, and there is no way to please him until we learn to be peaceful and loving to each other. No more War.

"Life's Difficulties"

Things happen daily that make you wonder, do people really care anymore? How can anyone just hate someone because they are different? Have we just grown immune to all others and their feelings?
Where are all the commandments we were brought up to believe in?

How can you sleep at night knowing that you have hate in your heart?
Tomorrow may not come, and you may not get to make amends. God has given us no time to die, only he knows that. So you may do a horrible and unforgiveable sin, and die in your sleep. OOOOOOPs!!! Did you really think that God would wake you up so that you could ask for forgiveness.

I see hatred in my 360 blog every day, and it makes me sad. I just this week thought I might even close it because of a religious war, right there in my blog. Thank God!! I had friends that talked me out of it. So I just deleted the controversial blogs, and comments to keep from stepping on toes, but really~~~~~~~~what is a blog for? I was under the impression it was to air your opinions, after all everyone has one! But the hatred there was a little too much for me.

All I want is for everyone to enjoy the freedoms that we have here, and not make a whole religion, accountable for 9/11, after we all have a few radical orgainizations here too. Like the Ku Klux Klan. So please, if you think its right to blame a whole religion.......are the KKK, Muslim??

ARE WE JUST LAB RATS??i

I sit here tonight, alone, and pondering,
are we just studies, from a species
unknown!!

Would people be surprised, if one day,
they awoke to find that we,
all of us were not only made by one Creator,
but made to study, as under a microscope.

What of the writings on the walls of the Ancient Ones
what were those funny looking, things,
looking so much like rockets, planes, and helicopters.
That could not be, they were not invented, where they??
I wonder sometimes, when people think
that they are superior to someone else.
Is this a dream, a long horrible nightmare??

Are we just lab rats, being studied all this time,
and we are failing the test??

THE SUNSHINE OF LIFE

The storm has passed over;
and the sun is shining bright.
The whole earth seems to sparkle;
In its soft soothing light.

How wonderful to feel it's warmth;
As it shines upon our day.
To bask in it's freshness;
And view the beauty on display.

Flowers sparkle in dazzling colors;
And the grass is green as green can be,
God sends the sunshine on this earth;
All its beauty for us to see.

There is a different kind of sunshine;
One God sends into our life,
It's a sunshine of hope and happiness;
It's a freedom from all strife.

Life's sunshine is so wonderful;
And we enjoy it in every way,
There is one big problem though;
We forget to thank God each day.

God blesses us with the sunshine of happiness;
He blesses us with the sunshine of Love,
God blesse us with the sunshine of Laughter;
And above all the promise of heaven above.

With all these blessings of His Sunshine;
How could we possibly forget to say,
Thank you Lord for every blessing,
Of life's sunshine you send our way.

"Do you ever wonder??"

And Then I Awoke
Everything is perfect, there is world peace,
freedom of religion, expression, age,
and to love whomever we choose.
The Iraq war is over, everyone is happy!
The air is clean and we can breathe,
I can walk the streets of the city,
in the dead of the night,
and not be afraid.
Everywhere you look, you see smiling
faces.
How great the day is, and the sun,
so beautiful~~~
time for a long walk all alone,
without fear,
And then I woke up!!
It was just a dream,
but oh, what a wonderful dream!

"Talking to God!"

1-What is your religion? He could care less, all that you really need is to believe in one true God.
2-What is your race? Of course not, because he created us all.
3-Are you rich? Why would he care about that, you can't take it with you and he only cares that you take care of others.
4-Are you a good person? Well you better be, because he already knows.
5-How often do you pray? I don't think he will care about how often, but how sincere you are when you do.
6-Are you a giver or a taker? He knows.
7-If you had but one wish, what would it be? It better be that you have lived your life in a way that is acceptable to God.
8-Do you treat others with the respect that you would also want? He knows the answer, lets hope you do.
9-Did you honor your father and your mother? You better hope that you did, or you are up there without a paddle.....
10-Are you happy with the way you served out your life on earth? He knows already, but do you?

Life's choices

First its courage: as we go throught life it takes a lot of courage, there is courage to face our enemies, courage to leave home, courage to face problems, etc.

Second its Love: Everyone has the ability to love, but not everyone can love unconditionally. This kind of love takes specail people. You need to turn a blind eye to the little pet peeves that you have with loved ones. And love like today was the end of your life.

Third is Trust: To me you can't love without trust. Trust is even more important than love. Because love can be a passing fancy, but trust is forever. As long as people know that they can trust you, there will never be wars.

Fourth is Honor: We must be honorable, we must show this in all ways. On my honor.............is a pledge to do good always.

Fifth is your family: Nothing can take the place of your family. This is why we all say "blood is thicker than water" and no matter what, we need to love and take care of family.

Sixth is truth: Always be truthful, your word is the most important asset in life. Be impecciable with your word, therefore, all the other qualities will come naturally.

Seventh is Charity: Be charitable, if you can help someone, do it. Don't put it off. Donate some money every pay to an organization that you know is good. Me, myself, I chose St. Judes Children's hospital. Because I love the innocense of children, and I will help them in any way I can. My dontation is taken out monthly before I even see it. That is because I would have a tendency to forget. And no one should ever forget their obligations.

Love ya

Rosy

Life's lessons~~~

There are big, average, and little people
There are rich, middle-class, and poor
There are good, bad, and ugly
There are a true mixture
right here in America.
The upper crust of the American people,
look down on the rest.
That is why they want all those
pent houses on top of sky-scrapers.
There was even once a song called....
"Short People"
Now its thin is in........
always a fad, always a reason
to think you are better than someone else.
God see's our soul, and it don't matter to him.
The body you have is just housing
for the present.
Think positive, think pure, love with everything,
you've got!
Today may just be the last day you have.

JAILED FOR DOING THEIR JOB!!

This is Ramos and his wife, she now has to live with the fact that her husband will be going to jail for doing his job.

There are few people who have not yet heard the story of the Border Patrol agents jailed for doing their jobs. The sad part is that the case has gotten even more ridiculous as time has passed.

For those who do not know the story, here is a brief recap of the events that occurred back in February 2005. At the time Border Patrol agents, Jose Compean and Ignacio Ramos followed a suspicious vehicle driving along the U.S.-Mexico Border near El Paso, Texas.

After following the van for some time, the driver ditched the van and started running towards Mexico. The agents followed, shorts were fired (by the agents) and the man was able to get across the border back to Mexico.

The van, incidentally, was loaded with 750 pounds of marijuana.

What happened next is hard to believe. Teh two agents were then charged with federal offenses that included assaqult with serious bodily injury (because the van's driver ended up being hit in the behind by one of their bullets), violating someone's civil rights, use of a firearm and obstruction of justice.

Prosecutors said that the agents shot an unarmed man who was running away and posing no threat.

Now this is not the worst part, the man is now sueing the United States Government, via the Border Patrol for 5 million dollars.

To sign a petition to free the agents:

"FREEDOM OF SPIRIT"

Fear is the common factor underlying all disharmonious emotions. For example, fear of inadequacy can lead to jealousy and hatred, fear of lack (such as money, material things etc.) can generate greed. When enough people pass throught the gateway to freedom of the spirit, the whole world will wonder why it had not seen such an easy solution, all along.

When you make meditation a top priority everyday, you connect to a wide range of your own consciousiness. Love and fear, seem to act like opposite poles of illusion which distracts from the natural flow of love through you. Love is a basic componant of the Creator. Love, therfore, is always available and ready to flow naturally through your heart.

Live and Let Live~~~when you allow other people to be the way they are, your energy is not absorbed in anyones futile drama's. Instead, you are able to use all your energy to follow your joy and help make the world a better place. It is unconditional love that heals the world, person by person, and there is no shortage of its supply.

When you listen to that still, small voice within, you will know where you need to be and when. Love and insight will pour from your heart if you let them. Give yourself the gift of true freedom, the freedom to express who you are through a natural flow of love and creativity.

If more people would read the works of "Don Miguel Ruiz" author of "The Four Agreements", and the words of "Owen Waters" author of "The Shift: The revolution in Human Consciousiness". You could better understand you own life, as well as the lives of others. These are two great authors, and write nothing but, understanding yourself and others.

The Streets of Egypt

Last year I visited Egypt for a month. I had this dream since childhood, of sailing up the nile, of long days on the beach, in Alexanderia, and I did both.

Cairo was a dissappointment to me for two reasons, one was the fumes from the cars. The traffic was so heavy, and there was no traffic lights. (was enought to give you a heart attack). These taxi drivers were excellent though, and I knew that my life was totally in their hands. Had I been driving I would have wrecked before going a block. But, of course I am used to traffic lights. Omg, it was awful. It was a somewhat modern city, but you would see the occasional donkey with a buggy trailing behind it.

The morning that I was leaving Cairo for Alexanderia, was my most dissappointing morning. As I waited for my bus, I saw this child, maybe a six year old lying in the street. I did not know........Was he alive? Was he dead? I was in shock, as I nudged my male companion, he said, "don't worry he is a street child." as if it did not matter. A street sweeper came..........he picked the child up by one arm, (I swear to you, I was by this time in tears) and he pulled him to the other side of the street so that he could sweep. The child did not wake up, he was either totally exhausted or dead!! I ask my male companion to go check on the child, which he did, and he came back to me and said he is okay, just sleeping.

I later learned that there is quiet a few of these children in Egypt, it seems no one is watching over the children there. These children lead an unhealthy, and very dangerous life there. They have no protection, not from the government, or anyone else. No Human Rights organization fighting for them. For many of them just surviving means begging, and sexual exploitation by adults. I have later learned that Cairo is home to nearly 150,000 street children. How sad is that?

When I was in Egypt, I was treated with dignity and respect, but I came home feeling very sad over the numbers of children that I could not help. The children that the Egyptian Government should be helping. These are children who will become terriost, because think about it........What do they have to lose??

Patience~~~~

As we walk through life, we shall practice patience. Don't walk so fast that you can't see what is beautiful, what surrounds you. God has made all these beautiful things for us to enjoy. We speed through life, as if we don't care.

Years ago, people arose early, got their work done before dark, went to visit a neighbor. Sit on the porch sipping tea, or drinking lemonade, but chatting about what went on in the neighborhood just that day.

Now we have the internet, we dont know our neighbors, we know people from others countries, we have virtual coffee, and tea with them. We love them as friends, and even sometimes fall in love. Most times if we fall in love, it ends in sadness, because the distance is so great. Sometimes we actually can meet in real, get married, and be together. But, most times, it ends in sadness.

Affairs of the heart is hard to control. Especially on the internet, we talk for years, and then one day, you find you cant wait to see him/her. The little "love" emotions in the messanger become your best friend. You hug, you kiss, and your heart beats so hard. Be strong, you tell yourself, this can't be real.

You sign off late at night, each wanting the other to say good-bye. It hurts, you go to bed, and lay there thinking of him/her.........till the wee hours in the morning. And then you think, maybe if I just took the time to smell the rose's here in my own back yard??

Lesson of the Hereford Cows

An old cowboy said he had learned life's most important lessons from Hereford cows. All his life he had worked cattle ranches where winter storms took a heavy toll among the herds. Freezing rains whipped across the prairies. Howling, bitter winds piled snow into enormous drifts. Temperatures might drop quickly to below zero degrees. Flying ice cut into the flesh. In this maelstorn of nature's violence most cattle would turn their backs to the ice blast and slowly drift downward, mile upon mile. Finally, intercepted by a boundary fence, they would pile up against the barrier and die by the scores.

But the Herefords acted differently. Cattle of this breed would instinctively head into the windward end of the range. There they would stand shoulder-to-shoulder facing the storms blast, deads down against it's onslaught.

"You always found the Herefords alive and well," said the cowboy. "I guess its the greatest lesson I ever learned on the prairies---just face life's storms.

Attitude

The 92 year old, well-poised and proud lady, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with her haair fashionably coifed and make-up perfectily applied, even though she is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today. Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary.

After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready.

As she maneuvered her chair to the elevator, I provided a visual discription of her tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on her window. "I love it," she stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year old having just been presented with a new puppy.

"Mrs. Jones, you haven't even seen the room~~just wait."

"That doesn't have anything to do with it," she replied. "Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged, it is how I arrange my mind."

"I already decided to love it...it's a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice. I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do. Each day is a gift and as long as my eyes open I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away..just for this time in my life."

"Old age is like a bank account, you withdraw from what you've put in. So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories. Thank you for your part in filling my Memory Bank, I am still depositing."
